MBBS Entrance Exams & Admission
For admission to the MBBS course in India, the student must sit for the National Eligibility Test cum Entrance (NEET). This is the only entrance exam for admission to the MBBS course and is accepted by both government and private institutions.
Two other important entrance tests for admission to the MBBS courses in India were the JIPMER MBBS exam and the AIIMS MBBS exam. However, these exams were removed in 2019, making NEET the most important medical entrance test in India.
